The first time I tried to write and describe all the experiences, sounds, impressions, sensations, fears,it seemed impossible. Overwhelming seems the best word. How do I put any of this down in words. Even my photographs seem like old postcards - not capable of really capturing the images because the sounds and smells and faces cannot be sent out through these visual products.
China is all that - odors, sounds.
